About the Show
Twisted is unique in its concept of a series of short plays integrated thematically yet remaining as individual stand-alone stories, self-contained within their unrelated plots and characters. Each ten-minute play deals with the tendency in humanity to put the self first, yet still maintain the celebrated facade of being magnanimous in nature.
If you’re a brutally honest audience member, you may recognize and confess to your own tendencies to preserve the illusion of altruistic behavior in your daily life. See it? There, there and there! But rest assured, nobody will call you out here in the show called “Twisted!”
Instead we all point our collective fingers at the onstage characters as they slowly and steadily decline and devolve while (hopefully!) learning their relationship lessons. So rest easy Twisted People—your secrets are safe and sound…for the time being!
