Meet the Reno Twisted Cast

  • Patricia Brewer

    MARCY (It’s A Loaded Question) • NANCY (Roll-Call For Roll-Play)

    Patricia Brewer is usually found piano conducting or playing for musicals around Reno as well as occasionally acting on the stage. She most recently had a role in the bands for Evil Dead: The Musical at Good Luck Macbeth and Murder Ballad with VV3 Productions. You may also have caught Patricia in The Taming of the Shrew, Next to Normal, The Full Monty, Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, the latter three at Bruka Theater. She’s a mom and tech professional who loves to perform. In Twisted, Patricia reprises her role as Marcy in a Loaded Question, which won Audience Favorite in the 10/10 Festival at GLM as well as debuting as Nancy, the tired but clever wife who comes up with the perfect solution in Roll-Call For Role-Play.

  • Karly Chandler

    Karly is thrilled to be part of this amazing "Twisted" cast. She has most recently appeared as Sal in Signs of Life (2022) at Restless Artist Theatre, Tania in Native Gardens (2022), and Myrtle Mae in Harvey (2019) at RLT, as well as Marra in Nightmare on Elm Street (2021) at GLM.

    Karly would like to thank her friends and family for all the support as she continues her passion in acting. She would also like to thank Kristopher Perez and Rachel Douglass for their great direction and of course Stephanie D. Lewis for creating this amazing work.

  • Philip Dierker

    MARTIN (Roll-Call For Roll-Play) • RAYMOND (It’s a Loaded Question) • DOUG (Monitors in the Middle) • TONY (Going Up, Going Down, Going Under)

    Philip Dierker is delighted to be performing in his first Reno production. His earlier credits (um ahem, his glory days!) include Li’l Abner at Truman Auditorium, Farmington, MO and 1st Runner Up and Mr. Congeniality in a collegiate charity pageant. When he isn’t on stage, Philip is hanging out with his family and dog Lola and working as a construction manager at Moana Nursery. He wants to thank his neighbors for their encouragement and support.

  • Sophie Dierker

    LINDSAY (Monitors in the Middle)

    Sophie Dierker is new to both Reno and the stage! She is ecstatic to be making her acting debut in Twisted, particularly since she gets to share a scene with her dad, Philip. Before she moved to Reno, Sophie lived in Houston, where she ran a successful pet care business for three years. Nowadays, she’s channeling her inner entrepreneur by taking business courses at Truckee Meadows Community College. When she’s not busy rehearsing or studying, Sophie loves to bake and go thrift shopping.

  • Rachel Douglass

    MS. SMITH (ED’s Day in Court)

    Rachel Douglass is a Reno native who graduated from McQueen High School and then the University of Nevada Reno with a Bachelor’s in Theater. She’s acted at all the main theaters within Reno. You can usually find her performing at The Restless Artists Theater, where some of her favorite roles to date have been Sweetheart in Exit, Pursued by A Bear, and Roxanne in Artificial Jungle. She also directs, produces, and stars in her own productions. She has been doing this since college and recently created her own non-profit theater company, Union Productions, where she has produced and starred as Callie in Stop Kiss and as Jill in Jack and Jill. She is a fitness professional by day, teaching various fitness classes at Crunch and primarily at her own personal training company, Union Studio.

  • Nick Farro

    VICTOR (Still Hung Up On You) • TOM (I Want You to Want Me) • BRIAN (Sister Twister)

    Nick is beyond excited to get to perform in Twisted! Some of his previous roles include Professor Plum in Clue (Bruka), Demetrius in a Midsummer Nights Dream(UNR), and he was an Understudy for the roles of Borachio and Conrade for Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festivals Much Ado About Nothing. He also would like to thank his family and friends for their constant support, and as Zac Efron once said "We're all in this together."

  • Kirk Gardner

    BRETT (Mistress On the Mattress) • HIP (Going Up, Going Down, Doing Under)

    Kirk Gardner has appeared on Northern Nevada stages for some 30 years. Favorite roles include Andy in Love Letters (RLT 1996), Henry IV in Henry IV (RLT 2004), Freddie in Noises Off (Nevada Rep 2005), Thenardier in Les Miserables (WNMTC 2013), Elwood in Harvey (RLT 2019) and Narrator in Into the Woods SSPA 2021). When not trodding the boards, Kirk is a CPA with Eide Bailly. All love to Julie for making sure our life is anything but Twisted. jt

  • Justin Hertz

    ED (ED’s Day in Court)

    Justin Hertz, originally from San Diego moved to Reno in 2005. In what seems now like a prior life, Justin had many roles performing in both live theater, improv and even trained at The Actors Workshop to study acting for television and film. Now living the life of a boring Realtor, he often yearns to get back into acting and looks forward to returning to the stage to flex his creative muscles in playing the role of ED in ED’s Day in Court. Justin looks forward to having this small yet meaningful role springboard him back onto the stage to enjoy more creative opportunities in the near future.

  • Crystal Holmes

    SYLVIE (Lullabies & Alibis) • WINTER (Sister Twister) • MAID (Roll-Call For Roll-Play)

    Crystal was last seen onstage in the student directed One-Acts at UNR where she’s currently majoring in Environmental Science. Originally hailing from Las Vegas, she counts reading, hiking, dancing, and collecting houseplants as her recreational pastimes and hobbies — but her real passion is right HERE! Yep, live theater and the opportunity to perform and capture unique characters in front of an audience is what really lights up Crystal and she’s excited to see what the future brings regarding potential educational and community opportunities in the acting realm.

  • James Jackson

    SIMON (Mixed Medium Messages) • RICHARD (Mistress On the Mattress)

    James H. Jackson has a lengthy history of theater, film and international modeling. In between portraying King Henry in “A Man For All Seasons” and four different characters in “Let The Right One In” (the latter in 2020 before Covid shut Theater down) he concentrated his efforts on commercial work and in pursuing the film industry. He was most recently featured in John Wynns One Hour, Desert Shadows, Carp-e-Diem, Rotten Apple, and The Tonight Show. He is currently repped by Tru Talent, right here in Reno, but his most significant representation was in serving our country in both the U.S. Marines and the Army National Guard. (Thank you for your service, James!) He resides locally with his wife and together they’ve raised eight children. In between his acting gigs and his full-time job in the psychology field, James enjoys gardening and beekeeping and he hopes you’ll enjoy his version of Simon in Mixed Medium Messages!

  • Colleen Keene

    LIZA (I Want You to Want Me) • CYNTHIA (Lullabies & Alibis)

    Colleen Keene is a student at UNR studying Wildlife Ecology and Conservation. Recently relocated from Las Vegas, she’s new to Reno but definitely not a stranger to the stage. Past productions include Arsenic and Old Lace, Almost Maine, A Christmas Carol, and Twelfth Night. In her free time, Colleen can be found with her nose buried in a book or camping in the beautiful spots that beckon to her. This is her first appearance in community theater in this region of Nevada and she hopes you enjoy the show!

  • Holly Lorge’

    DALIA (Monitors In the Middle) • IVY (Mixed Medium Messages)

    Holly Lorge’ is thrilled to be a part of ‘Twisted!” Holly grew up in Carson City, NV and after high school went straight to Hollywood for twenty years, acting in National commercials, TV shows, Theater, Improv and Comedy Clubs. Married with two kids, she is happy to be back home in the Reno/Carson City area since 2007 active in our local, thriving Film and Theater community. Holly also teaches Acting classes at Take 2 Performers Studio and the Davidson Academy. In her spare time she loves to bake, talk on the phone, eat chips and salsa and watch ‘Seinfeld’.

  • Bella Mason

    BRENDA (Lullabies & Alibis) • WINNIE (Still Hung Up On You) • LACEY (Sister Twister)

    Bella is excited to be making her Reno Little Theater debut in Twisted. A San Francisco native, Bella has performed with various Bay Area youth and local community theater groups and in a musical production with Truckee Community Theater. Bella’s favorite roles include Patrice in 13 the Musical, Little Sally in Urinetown, and Mouse in A Year with Frog and Toad. Bella is a 2nd year student at the University of Nevada-Reno dual majoring in Physics and Math, and minoring in Theater.

  • Robin Soli

    THERAPIST (It’s A Loaded Question) • TIFFANY (Mistress On the Mattress)

    Robin has had an extremely successful dance career that enabled her to pursue her passion of performing on stage and traveling the world. One of her many accomplishments was winning the title as the Dance Grand Champions in the television production of Star Search!!! After a time away from performing to raise her 2 children she then began taking acting classes and started auditioning in 2020 and has not stopped since. She has performed in leading roles at Restless Artist Theatre in the productions of Emilie La Marquise, 2 Across, Admissions and Artifice and numerous other stage productions. She can also be seen in various films and commercials. Robin is excited to be a part of the upcoming talented Twisted cast!!

  • John Walmsley

    DENNIS (Still Hung Up On You)

    After appearing pre-pandemic at Bruka and Good Luck Macbeth, John is happy to return this winter to the RLT stage after appearing here previously in The Imaginary Invalid. When not memorizing lines and working with talented writers and directors, he's practicing on guitars and keyboards, composing songs and seeking collaborators. Previously a long time resident of San Francisco, he's lived in Reno for the last 7 years and loves being near the mountains.
